Dr Sarika is the second of three siblings. Her parents Mr Sk Mahajan and Mrs Rita Mahajan both hail from Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh. Her father has been the President and CEO of multiple companies in a career spanning 52 years having worked in various multinational companies Delhi, Kota, Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Udaipur and has traveled to more than 40 countries.

Her mother is a stay at home mom, besides being a social worker, an accomplished artist, past Inner wheel and UWCCI President.

Her sister Sonika is an actress, event host and life coach based in Mumbai. Her brother Sachin is country head Canada with Prodapt. Both have very accomplished spouses and two children each.

Sarika and Manish have been married 20+ years; his father Mr PK Verma hails from Ropar, and has served as Director of various companies in a long and distinguished career. His mother late Mrs Neena Verma hailed from Gurdaspur, worked as a teacher in Bhavan's school for over 20 years before volunteering with children with special needs in Sorem school, Chandigarh.

Born and raised in Chandigarh, Manish is a mechanical Engineer from Manipal, MBA from Symbiosis. He quit his job as senior vice-president Indusind bank to start a series of start-ups.

They have two very bright and talented children Sanaa and Ansh.
