Dr. Sarika Verma is an ENT surgeon trained in Madras Medical College 2000-2002, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital 2003-2009. She started practice in the dynamic Millenium city of Gurgaon in 2009 with a centre named after her children Sanaansh ENT & Allergy Centre, and renamed it AllergyDoc in 2016. She has worked in ENT department of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Indraprastha Apollo, Alchemist Panchkula and his presently associated with Max Gurgaon,Paras Hospital and Artemis Hospitals where she admits and operates patients.
Her journey with Allergy started in April 2003 in Bombay Hospital, and continued with a Dissertation in Allergic rhinitis in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , and led to a long term goal to heal people suffering from allergy disease. Allergy is such a common disease, 1 out of 5 people suffer from some form of allergy in their lifetime, but India does not have treatment protocols or adequate training available. She has spent two decades sensitizing the ENT fraternity about Skin Prick Testing and Allergy Vaccination/ Allergen Immunotherapy and teaching colleagues how to start an Allergy Practise.
She wants to change the age old adage that one has to live with allergy, and hopes that all doctors will start treating Allergy correctly and provide a long term cure of Allergy, and not just symptom control.
