India is amongst the noisiest countries in the world. The entire world drives quietly, while Indians refuse to get their hands off the horn. Dr Sarika has been very passionately involved with the issue of Noise pollution in India.
- Served as Convener Chandigarh, Convener Gurgaon and National Convener for Indian Medical Asssociation’s National Initiative for Safe Sound, NISS
- She has been running noise awareness campaigns in Gurgaon and Chandigarh 2017 onwards every year on International Noise Awareness Day
- Runs Social Media campaigns to raise awareness about driving without horn, effects of headphones, importance of Silent Zones in the city
